Epsom salts, magnesium sulfate, are a gift for sore muscles, inflammation, circulation, and stress relief. Often after an acupuncture treatment for pain (lumbar, neck, headaches, carpal tunnel, and so on), I recommend a patient take a warm-hot Epsom salt bath to alleviate any residual inflammation and to address any soreness that occurs from the treatment.
