Moxibustion, Moxa, Artemisia vulgaris, Mugwort

Moxibustion is the application of heat from burning certain herbal substances on or near the acupuncture points. Primarily mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris, is used. Moxa is useful for tonifying deficient conditions, moving stagnant Qi and Blood, and dispelling Cold in the Meridians.  Frankly, I love the stuff.
